AnaZahra.com reports Inas settled on Menna to play the female lead of the movie, marking their first cinematic collaboration.
Menna plays a psychiatrist who insists on revealing the mystery behind the suicide of a girl after her father slept with her, particularly as her character was exposed to the same situation years ago.
The script was written by Rafiq Al Sabban, and is adapted from the novel "Al Samt" by Tunisian author Hend Al Ziyadi. Egyptian censors had previously rejected the script for containing graphic scenes.
The Censorship authority approved the movie after Inas presented a memo to the Supreme Council of Egyptian Culture, but she accepted the condition of altering certain scenes.
